The Rose Valley Reservoir is experiencing higher than normal turbidity. Because of this turbidity, viruses and microorganisms can then attach to the particles in the water. These particles interfere with disinfection.

It’s recommended that children, the elderly and people with weakened immune system don’t drink the water and people boil it for at least one minute before using it.
