Liquid Lightning swimmers represent well at two meets

It was an impressive weekend for the Liquid Lightning Swim Club at the Kelowna AquaJets Snowfest meet on January 21st and 22nd.

The team came out of the weekend with 250 best times, 25 new club records and two new provincial qualifiers.

Nathaniel Hees and Breanna James were the swimmers who qualified themselves for the AA Provincials, which will be held in Chilliwack in February.

Hees earned himself a silver medal, while James swam to one gold, three silvers and three bronze medals over the course of the weekend.

Georgia Pengilly, Madison Seeley and Liam Collie all earned best times in various races with Collie breaking three club records in the process.

Maxime Cousnard swam to four medals and five new club records, while Dylan DaSilva earned a pair of medals and set three new club records.

Kaleigh Reese grabbed herself five medals over the course of the weekend, which included three silvers.

Pierson Piche had a great weekend as well, earning eight medals and six new club records.

Madison Wudrich and Ava Toyata also earned medals for the Liquid Lightning Swim Club.

The team then had 15 members participate in the Penticton January Jamboree on Sunday, January 29th, where they swam to another 55 best times.
