A beloved local woman, and owner of MOGA Yoga in West Kelowna, has sadly passed away.

Tessa Hutton was a pre and post-natal yoga instructor, and taught classes around the community. Hutton leaves behind a young daughter, Isla. A GoFundMe has been started to help alleviate some financial burden for her family.

MOGA Kelowna confirmed the news today, releasing a statement which reads, “Mamas, our hearts are broken. We lost a radiant light in our yoga community last night. Hold your loved ones close this weekend and send Tessa love and light to where her spirit now resides.”

The MOGA Moms groups said that “There are many teachers in the world, but Tessa was a special one.”

“She taught from intuition, with soul and most importantly, with love.”

MOGA Yoga said that Hutton’s classes will be taught by MOGA trained instructors, and she wouldn’t want it any other way than for them to continue to support moms and their babies.
