The world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations has included a West Kelowna eatery on its “50 Best Resturants for a Date” in Canada.
Curated by Open Table, the list features eight restaurants from BC including Old Vines Resturant at Quails Gate Estate Winery in West Kelowna.
Described as a meeting place of fresh local ingredients, Old Vines features an indoor/outdoor dining room with a panorama view of Okanagan Lake alongside the vineyards grapevines.
The restaurant touts near perfect ratings of 4.6 for food, 4.6 for service, 4.8 for ambiance and 4.3 for value on a scale of zero to five on Open Table’s website.
Old Vines’ menu features entres such as Farm Crest Cornish Hen, 30-day Dry Aged Cache Creek Ribeye and Bear and the Flower Prok Duo from Executive Chef Roger Sleiman.
The province was represented by Victoria’s OLO Resturant and six popular spots in Vancouver.
