Crystal Mountain to host ‘Awesome City Limits’ music festival in West Kelowna

Following news that the former Crystal Mountain ski area will reopen this winter as Bull Mountain Adventure Park, the mountain has announced a music and comedy festival. 

On Saturday, Oct. 5, Bull Mountain will present the Awesome City Limits festival where six bands and three comedians will hit the stage in West Kelowna. 

Headlined by popular Tragically Hip cover band The Hip Replacements, the 19+ event will run from 3 pm until 10:30 pm and all proceeds will go towards the opening of Bull Mountain Adventure Park.

In July, West Kelowna resident Don Journeay announced his plans to reopen the ski area that has sat abandoned since 2014. 

While the mountain will only see a soft launch initially, the are plans to have the T-bar running, a small terrain park, ice rink and a tube slide park. 

The mountain plans on opening around mid-December.
