It’s an absolute dream come true for the mother-daughter duo, Donna and Danielle Scheven, founders of Carolily Finery.

The West Kelowna-based jewellers have just accepted an invitation to bring some of their statement pieces to Europe next year.

The pair will be making their way to Paris Fashion Week in October to prepare for the show, attend designer events and eventually watch their jewelry walk the runway.

“We are excited for the opportunity to collaborate with another fashion brand,” said Donna. “As our designer, I am also looking forward to having complete creative freedom to come up with these new pieces. Paris will be a life-changing experience.”

When the duo first founded the jewellery company back in 2015, they never imagined their handcrafted necklaces, bracelets and earrings to be showcased on the world stage.

But in 2018, Carolily made an appearance on their first catwalk at New York Fashion Week in the David Tupaz show.

“New York Fashion Week was amazing, but Paris seems like an entirely different ball game,” says Danielle, “Our invitation was on the heels of multi-month features in Vanity Fair UK, Glamour UK, and upcoming features in British Vogue and Canadian Style of Fashion. This feels like our time to shine.”

No word on who they’ll be working with, but their sterling silver, hypoallergenic stainless steel, gemstones, and pearls are set to dazzle guests across the pond.
