Man, 20, taken to hospital after van crashes into hydrant in West Kelowna

Mounties in West Kelowna are investigating after a driver crashed into a fire hydrant. 

A 20-year-old man was taken to KGH by medics after suffering minor injuries during the incident yesterday. 

It happened at about 4:30 pm at the 2000 block of Boucherie Road.

The man was driving a Chevrolet van, which came to a rest in a ditch on the side of the road after the crash. 

No charges have been laid but police continue to investigate. 

They have asked that anyone with any information about this crime contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
