(UPDATE: April 17 @ 8:55 a.m.) - RCMP in West Kelowna have located Daniel Snyder.

The 34-year-old is "safe and sound."

(Original story: April 16 @ 4 p.m.) - West Kelowna RCMP are concerned for the health and well being of Daniel Snyder.

The 34-year-old was last seen shortly before 6 p.m. on April 15 in the 1400 block of Menu Road.

Shortly later, just after 6:30 p.m., Snyder’s vehicle was located and recovered at the end of Webber Road near popular Glenrosa hiking trails.

Since then, police haven’t been able to locate the 34-year-old despite extensive patrols.

Friends and family say it’s out of character for Snyder to be out of contact for so long.

He’s described as a 5’10” Caucasian man with a slim build, bald head, green eyes and red beard.

He was last seen wearing a dark toque, a tan or grey jacket and an unknown colour of pants.

If you have any information regarding Snyder’s whereabouts, you’re urged to contact your local police.

You can also report tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
