An advance polling station in West Kelowna has a leaky roof, meaning some voters will have to go elsewhere to cast their ballot.

The station at Lakeview Heights Community Hall on Anders Road can no longer be used by voters.

Instead, they must go to Hudson Road Elementary School.

The change affects voters who live in the West Kelowna Estates, Lakeview Heights, Sunnyside and Westside Road areas of the electoral district.

A spokeswoman for Election Canada added: “Please check your Voter Information Card and if you are assigned to Lakeview Heights Community Hall – go to Hudson Road Elementary School instead.

“This is the ONLY location you can vote at, as voters must vote in the advance location indicated on their voter information cards.”

Advance polling days are Friday–Monday, Oct. 11–14, from 9 am to 9 pm.
