West Kelowna Warriors add promising prospect from Quebec

The West Kelowna Warriors continue to strengthen their club with another new signing on Friday. 

According to the team, defenseman Charles Alexis Legault has committed for the 2020-21 season. The Pierrefonds, QC-native scored 11 goals while collecting 33 points in 35 games with the Lac St.Louis Lions last season. 

"We are very excited for Charles-Alexis to join the Warriors family,” said Warriors Head Coach Simon Ferguson. “Charles bring a speed, a big shot and a lot of physicality to our lineup. We are thrilled to add a player of his caliber.”

The 6'3," 190-pound skater praised the Warriors organization before announcing his commitment. 

"I am very excited to get started and be a Warrior," said Legault. "I heard great things about the organization and it’s coaching staff specifically. To me, it’s a great fit, a strong team where I can contribute to a winning team and keep on improving athletically.”

Legault has also played for the Team Canada U17 and is a Boston University prospect.
