The agreement will provide 155 full-time employees and 40 relief and term positions wage increases.

That includes a 4.5% increase starting Jan. 1, 2025.

A news release says that will be followed by a 5% increase in 2026 and two consecutive years with 3.5% increases.

“Other changes to the collective agreement, which ensures labour stability at the City of West Kelowna through 2027, were minor housekeeping amendments,” the city says.

Voting on the agreement happened from April 10 to 12.
