A West Kelowna winery is celebrating a new exhibition with a Summer Art Launch Party this weekend.

‘Everything Under the Sun’ will be presented at Grizzli Winery from June 1 until Sept. 25, but the celebration event will take place on June 3 from 4 to 7 pm.

Attendees will have the opportunity to peruse the art and indulge in a wine and charcuterie pairing as The Apple Blossom Duo of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra performs.

Ashley Kroecher and Sarah Anderson are violin and viola duos living in Kelowna who perform various styles such as classical, folk and jazz.

They have both played extensively throughout the interior of BC, including with the Okanagan and Kamloops Symphony Orchestras.

Also at the event will be a silent auction featuring three pieces of art donated by the artists, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra Society.

With a wide variety of styles, this art show is a juried group exhibition featuring over 60 paintings by local artists from the Federation of Canadian Artists Central Okanagan Chapter.

The full list of artists includes:

A juried exhibition means that each piece of art is judged and selected through a competitive process, determining which works will be declined, accepted or awarded additional prizes.

The Summer Art Launch Party is free to attend, but registration is required as space is limited.
