Firefighters were fast on the scene of two small fires near Westside Road on Tuesday afternoon.
According to BC Wildfire Service, the first blaze was caused by a structure fire that spread into the bush at Six Mile Creek.
A helicopter was called into action to dump water on the small fire, which is roughly five kilometres from the roadside.
The fire is now classified as held at .1 hectares and four wildfire crew members remain on site.
Crews were also called to the scene of a second fire on Crown land near Stuart Creek in the Fintry area on Tuesday.
That blaze is being held at .1 hectares as well and no structures are threatened, however, crews remain on site.
The causes for both fire are still undetermined at this time.
