There’s never a bad time to buy a burger from White Spot or Triple O’s, but there’s now one day where it should be a priority for British Columbians.

The iconic BC-based restaurant chain has announced a one-day fundraiser to support Canadian Red Cross relief efforts for those impacted by the hundreds of wildfires burning in the province.

It will take place on Thursday, July 29 at all 96 White Spot and Triple O’s locations in BC, which includes aboard BC Ferries.

For every burger sold that day, $2 will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross 2021 BC Fires appeal, but the impact doesn’t stop there.

With the Government of BC and Government of Canada matching every dollar contributed, it means a total of $6 will be raised for every single burger sold.

“We are a community-first organization and are proud to have received immediate agreement from our family of franchisees and partners to provide support,” said Warren Erhart, president of White Spot Restaurants.

“We hope these much-needed funds will provide some relief to those who need it most during this extremely challenging time.”

So pencil in your dinner plans for July 29, maybe even lunch plans as well, because every legendary burger, BC burger, buttermilk chicken club and more will make an important impact.
