Last Saturday a nurse came into Spin City Laundromat to wash her scrubs, Colin the owner decided to let the nurse do this free of charge.

He had pondered with the idea and on Saturday, March 21st he decided he would offer nurses, doctors and care workers at the Kelowna General Hospital the opportunity to wash their scrubs and gowns for free.

Colin was happy his announcement was "well-received and shared many times on Facebook." he said when we reached out to him.

Spin City Laundromat is only 5 minutes from KGH in the Mission Park Mall, so it is the perfect spot for healthcare workers to wash their scrubs and gowns after their shift.

If you're coming into to wash your laundry load, the laundromat is making sure that social distancing is being respected and everyone takes part in making sure they are in and out when they do their laundry.
