Selfies of Health Care Heroes

The well known Kelowna singer/songwriters Jim and Kim Rhindress have written a song that says thanks to everyone that is currently working in the medical field.

But they need help from the community, they need your selfies!

Their new song "Health Care Heroes" is being recorded this week and filmmaker CJ Clayton has offered to create a tribute video to go along with it.

To make the video, the Rhindresses have been tasked by Clayton to get 300 selfies of health care workers, first responders or hospital support staff in the next few days.

“We know it’s a big task,” says Jim Rhindress, a former surgical nurse at KGH. “Everyone is very busy right now doing their jobs but it’s important that we see the faces of the real heroes in this fight.”

To accomplish their task, the couple has reached out on social media and email to their friends, family and fans with this message along with a link to the rough cut recording they made of their song posted to YouTube.

If you or someone you know would like to submit a selfie photo for this project, please send it to @RhindressMusic on Facebook or Instagram or email it directly to Kim at Kimsvoice@hotmail.com
