If you’re sad about Kelowna’s Canada Day fireworks being postponed, the Falcons have you covered.

Following the Falcons game against the Cowlitz Black Bears on Wednesday night, fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks show.

Wednesday night’s game also happens to be the annual Firefighters Burn Fund Fundraiser game.

A number of members from the Kelowna Fire Department will be on hand with games, a truck and prizes.

All gate admissions from the game will be donated to the fund.

“It’s one of our favourite games of the season,” said General Manager Mark Nonis.  “The firefighters have been so great the few years coming out to support the game and we expect another great night.”

Nonis added that “after the announcement of the Canada Day fireworks we’re excited to offer this our fans.”

Once Wednesday night’s game finishes, there will be an on-field concert to entertain fans while the firefighters set up the fireworks show.

Tickets for the game are available in advance at the main fire hall on Enterprise Way.
