Tour de France competitor, Mark Cavendish, hopped on a flight to the UK on Wednesday after withdrawing from the tour with a fractured shoulder blade. Cavendish suffered a broken shoulder during stage four when he was involved in a crash just 200 metres from the finish line.
World champion, Peter Sagan, was disqualified in response to the crash after aggressively sprinting to the finish and elbowing Cavendish, sending him to the ground.
However, there is now a dispute as to who was at fault. A Tour de France podcast brought on former racer, Lance Armstrong to weigh in on the call.
In Armstrong's opinion, he believed Sagan shouldn't have been disqualified, but instead relegated or sent to the back of the pack for the next stage of the race.
He also added that when Sagan races, he always has his elbows out and that Cavendish was already headed to the ground before he got elbowed.
Two-time world champion, Sagan, also tweeted a 'goodbye' video to his fans as he headed to the airport.

Born in Slovakia, Sagan now lives with his wife in Monaco.

Cavendish arrived home on Wednesday and posted a video showing that he's out of the Tour de France "bubble and back to real life."
In the lead now after winning stage five today, is three-time Tour de France winner, Chris Froome.
The British racer has made Team Sky proud numerous times before by claiming the yellow jersey, however it's usually during the later stages of the tour.
It's rare for Froome to take the lead so early, but he's got his sights set on keeping the jersey.
