Trampoline athletes bring home the gold

The Okanagan Gymnastics trampoline team headed out to another competition in the Lower Mainland only weeks after competing at the BC Championships.

This time, the team came home with 6 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 5 bronze medals, plus two athletes on the team to Western Canada Cup.

Max Vandenberg and Brett Judson both qualified to Western Canada Cup by finishing in the top 3 on trampoline throughout the season. 

This past weekend, Judson finished with a silver on Level 4 double mini and bronze on Level 4 trampoline, while Vandenberg finished fifth in Level 4 trampoline.

Andrew Oliver finished with a gold medal in the Level 6 18+ category.

Jordyn Yendley earned gold on trampoline and silver on double mini trampoline in the Level 6 U17 category.

Taya Lawless finished in first place in Level 4 U15 double mini trampoline.

Ally Wyllie finished with a bronze medal in Level 3 14+ double mini trampoline.

Ella Law finished with two medals, one silver and one bronze in the Level 2 14+ trampoline and double mini trampoline.

Jacob Kochylema also earned two medals this past weekend, a gold in Level 2 trampoline and a bronze in Level 2 U13 double mini trampoline.

Nate Banner finished with silver in Level 1 tumbling, and Level 2 U13 double mini trampoline, as well as third place in Level 2 trampoline.

Ethan Scott earned two gold medals on the Level 3 trampoline and Level 1 tumbling.
