Another Rockets player has inked an NHL deal.
The Calgary Flames announced today that Dillon Dube has signed a three-year entry level contract with the club.
The 19-year-old was drafted by the Flames in the second round, 56th overall, in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Over three seasons in the WHL, Dube has 63 goals and 148 points in 150 games for the Rockets.
The Cochrane, Alberta native also suited up for Team Canada at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship, where Canada won a silver medal.
Dube missed the start of the 2016-2017 WHL season after suffering an injury during Flames training camp.
He came back strong, however, with 55 points in just 40 games this season, and will be a key factor in whether the Rockets make a lengthy post-season run.
