One of the most popular fringe NHLers is showing his love for B.C. in documentary form.
Paul Bissonnette, also known as Biz Nasty, announced that he will be producing a five part documentary series this summer that showcases our province.
“Very excited to begin production tomorrow on our five part documentary series showcasing beautiful British Columbia,” the 32-year-old wrote on his Instagram post about the project. “We will be featuring NHL stars in each episode to keep hockey fans entertained before the season is back.”
Originally, Bissonnette said that the guests would remain anonymous until the episodes were released in September, but the secrecy didn’t last long.
On an Instagram account set up for the production (@biznastydoesbc), Bissonnette posted a picture of himself with Toronto Maple Leafs’ defenceman Morgan Rielly.
The photo is taken from a boat in North Vancouver, meaning the first episode will almost certainly be focused around the Lower Mainland.
It’s believed the rest of the five episodes will be filmed around the province.
Bissonnette was born and raised in Ontario, but has been very vocal about his love for B.C. over the years.
He spends a lot of time in B.C. and even attended Pemberton Music Festival for the last three years with former Vancouver Whitecaps’ captain, Jay Demerit.
