Four days of hockey are in the books from the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The Edmonton Oilers once again had the best Young Stars Classic, as they went 3-0 on the weekend.

That improves their record in the tournament to 10-0-2 over the last four years.

The Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets all split the other three games with a win each, giving fans of all teams something to cheer about.

Kelowna Rockets’ fans had a lot to cheer about as well as Kole Lind and Dillon Dube both suited up in the tournament.

Dube, who was in his second Young Stars Classic with the Calgary Flames, posted a pair of assists against Vancouver and added a goal against Winnipeg.

Lind was playing his first tournament after being drafted by the Canucks this summer.

The 18-year-old also put up a goal and two assists, all in the same game against Winnipeg.

Both Dube and Lind will now head off to NHL training camp with the Canucks and Flames.

The Rockets will start the season without one or both players, but they should both be back with the Rockets later this month.
