If it’s not broken, why fix it?

That is most definitely the case for the Young Stars Classic, which will return to the South Okanagan Events Centre in September for its seventh year.

This year’s tournament will run from Friday, September 8th through Monday, September 11th.

The same four teams that competed in the tournament last year will be there this year, which is the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets.

Top prospects like Vancouver’s Olli Juolevi and Edmonton’s Jesse Puljujarvi will be the main draws in a tournament that featured Connor McDavid two years ago.

New to this year’s tournament is the “Back to School” package, which includes access to all six games along with a commemorative Young Stars Herschel backpack.

There’s also a VIP tournament package that includes ice level premium seating, food offerings and the same Herschel backpack.

The premium VIP package is $300, the “Back to School” package is $125 and a normal ticket package for six games will set you back $75.twit

Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 7th at 10 a.m.
