On Sunday, June 18th, the Kelowna Raiders suffered a 6-7 loss against the Kamloops Rattlers.

Captain Mark Jurista scored in overtime to put the Kelowna Raiders away for the season at Rutland Arena on Sunday. The Raiders came from behind to tie the game in the third and force overtime but were unable to put one past Kamloops goalie, Mike Smith.

Smith, along with his counterpart on the Raiders, Graham Cousins, both played outstanding games.

With Kamloops Sharpshooter AJ Lockwood out with an injury, JJ Woldum stepped in to contribute 5 goals.

The win for Kamloops left both teams tied for second place in the league standings, but by virtue of total goals, Kamloops advances to the playoffs with the Armstrong Shamrocks.

Along with Woldum's five goal scoring performance for Kamloops were also singles by Brett Baker and Mark Jurista.

For the Raiders, both Joe Brown and Vic Wiens scored twice, while Pho Heng and Cody Evans scored once.
