The Kelowna Rockets came from behind to get by the Victoria Royals 4-3 on Wednesday night.

Tomas Soustal put one home and gave the Rockets an early lead in the game at 12:43 of the opening period, but the lead didn't last as the Royals scored two in the second period.

The Rockets turned it on in the third. Dillon Dube tied things up midway into the period, but Victoria's Matthew Phillips responded minutes later to put the Royals back on top.

With his fourth of the season, Cal Foote tied the game again at 14:36 of the final frame, and just 38 seconds later Calvin Thurkauf sent the game winning goal past Royals' goaltender Griffen Outhouse.

Outhouse made 32 saves in the game and Rockets' netminder Michael Herringer earned his 17th win of the season with 19 saves.

A rematch between the two teams will take place on Friday, January 13th in Victoria.
