Kelowna Rockets' forward Kole Lind has received WHL Player of the Week honours.

The 18-year-old, who’s the second Rocket to win Player of the Week after Calvin Thurkauf did so in December, received the honour for the week of January 30th to February 5th.

Lind posted three assists in the Rockets 8-2 drubbing of the Calgary Hitmen on February 1st.

He followed that up with two goals in a tight, 3-2 win over the Western Conference leading Prince George Cougars.

The next night he posted another goal and added two assists as the Rockets beat the Cougars again, this time 5-1.

In total, Lind put up three goals and five assists for eight points in just three games this week.

Lind and the Rockets are next in action on Wednesday night as they travel to Kamloops to play the Blazers.

Their next home game is on Friday night when they host the Vancouver Giants.

Tickets are still available for Friday’s game at www.selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
