Rookies lead the Rockets to dominating win over Giants

The rookies with a big night, scoring all six goals in the game for the Rockets.


Nolan Foote with his first hat-trick in the WHL led the Kelowna Rockets to the dominating 6-0 victory over the visiting Vancouver Giants.



Rookies Erik Gardiner had a single and Leif Mattson with the pair. 


Rookie Konrad Belcourt got the assist on the second Mattson goal, recording his first point in his WHL career. With that point every Rockets skater has at least one point on the season.

Nolan Foote playing in his rookie season has 14 goals and 21 total points in 35 games so far this season.

The Rockets travel to Vancouver Saturday night in the second part of the home and home. 


The Rockets are on home ice again on Monday for an afternoon battle with the Seattle Thunderbirds. Puck drop for that meeting is at 2:05pm.
