For the second night in a row Brodan Salmond shut the door tight on the Vancouver Giants blanking them. This time the final score was 5-0 on Giants ice.

Unlike last night though, this time it was the seasoned veterans that answered the bell, not the rookies.

Dillion Dube was named the game's first star with three assists. Kole Lind second star with one goal and Lucas Johansen the third star with a goal and an assist.

Calvin Thurkauf scored his 25th, James Hilsendager his 3rd and Erik Gardiner his 4th of the campaign.to round out the scoring.

Thurkauf's and Gardiner's goal were both power-play markers as the Rockets went 2/4 on the man advantage and they also killed off three penalties.

Salmond improved to 9-7-1-0 and saved all 19 shots he faced to record back-to-back shutouts on back-to-back nights. The Rockets out-shot the Giants 38-19.

The Rockets improve to 32-20-4-0 on the season.
