The list of Kelowna Rockets alumni to play in the NHL grew by two this weekend.
Both players were called up on Friday, as the Columbus summoned Calvin Thurkauf and the Vegas Golden Knights recalled Gage Quinney.
On Saturday, they made their debuts.

Thurkauf got eight minutes of ice time and was relatively quiet on the stat sheet, recording just one hit.
Quinney played around nine minutes on Saturday and he only mustered one shot on net.
However, the Golden Knights had another game on Sunday and Quinney made his second career NHL game count.

The Las Vegas native picked up his first career assist on a first period goal from Patrick Brown, adding a shot on goal and hit in just over eight minutes of ice time.
Quinney is the first Navada-born player to play in the NHL, which means he's obviously the first to record a point as well.
Thurkauf was sent back to the AHL on Sunday night and it’s expected Quinney’s time in the bigs will be short lived as well, but you can expect both players to be back sooner rather than later.
