The title pretty much says it all.

When the Kelowna Rockets host the Kamloops Blazers at Prospera Place on Saturday, it will be the Wawanesa Toy Drive in support of the Salvation Army.

It’s an event that’s happening at CHL games across the country in an effort to make sure every kid gets to unwrap a present on Christmas morning.

Everyone who contributes to the cause by bringing a new, unwrapped toy or stuffed animal to the game will be entered to win a great prize as well.

One lucky and charitable person will win Memorial Cup tickets for their efforts.

As for the game, the Pavel Novakless Rockets will look to bump their recent slump against the BC Division leading Blazers.

“We're a tough team to play against in our rink, and it's hard for opposing teams to come in and play against us,” said the newest Rocket, Kobe Mohr, who will be playing his former team once again.

“We need to stick to our systems, we've just got to stick together and trust the process, it will work out for us in the end."

Following Saturday’s game, the Rockets have a few days off before hosting the Victoria Royals at Prospera Place on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
