The Kelowna Rockets season may be over, but Kaedan Korczak has a great chance to boost his draft stock.

He’s been named to Team Canada’s final roster for the IIHF U18 World Championship in Sweden.

The tournament begins on Thursday and Canada will open their gold medal bid with a game against Finland.

Korczak played in both of Canada’s pre-tournament games, which resulted in wins over Belarus and Russia.

In the game against Belarus, he picked up a pair of assists.

This isn’t Korczak’s first time wearing the maple leaf, as he also suited up for Canada’s men’s summer U18 team at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and he was on Canada Black at the 2017 World U17 Hockey Challenge.

TSN will be broadcasting 15 games, including all of Team Canada’s matchups, at this year’s IIHF U18 World Championship.
