The Blazers opened the scoring a little more than five minutes into the game courtesy of Emmitt Finnie's 37th goal of the season.

Kamloops’ 1-0 lead stood for exactly 10 minutes before Kayden Longley capitalized on a power play to even the score.

With the game tied 1-1 early in the second period, Finnie got an assist on the eventual game-winning goal to put the Blazers up 2-1.

Kamloops then added two power-play goals in the middle frame to take a 4-1 lead, the final score.

Jake Pilon stopped 42 of the 46 shots he faced in net as the Rockets were outshot 46-23.

The Rockets will now return home and prepare to host the Victoria Royals on Wednesday and then the Vancouver Giants for their final home game on Saturday.
