Kelowna and Kamloops have not played each other this season and are separated by three points in the Western Conference standings, with Kelowna ahead and holding on to the eighth position.
The Rockets will be without Caden Price, Marek Rocak and Jakub Stancl as all three players are currently competing at the World Juniors in Ottawa.
Price is representing Canada while Stancl and Rocak are both on Team Czechia.
After facing the Blazers on Saturday, the Rockets will head to Vancouver to face the Giants on Sunday.
The Giants are expected to be led by Cameron Schmidt, who has 24 goals and 38 points this season.
Kelowna’s Andrew Cristall will look to continue his dominance on the ice in the second half of the season after posting 55 points in 23 games to start the campaign.
Puck drop is scheduled for 6:05 pm at Prospera Place on Saturday.
