After an 8-3 shellacking of the Tri-City Americans on Wednesday, the Kelowna Rockets will look to continue an upwards trend this weekend.

It begins on Saturday night when the Red Deer Rebels roll into town before Vancouver Canucks’ prospect Jett Woo and the Calgary Hitmen arrive for an afternoon game on Monday.

It’ll be the only time the Rockets face both teams this season, but Kelowna lost both games against these opponents by a combined score of 12-1 last season.

Captain Nolan Foote is expected to return to the lineup this weekend, which will provide the Rockets with a major boost.

Forward Michael Farren could also return from injury.

Following this weekend’s action, the Rockets head out on the road for a pair of games against the Victoria Royals next weekend and two midweek games against the Prince George Cougars on Feb. 25 and 26.
