For the first time in nearly three weeks, the Kelowna Rockets will play an opponent not named the Victoria Royals this weekend.

The Rockets will take on the Vancouver Giants in Langley tonight before the two teams travel to Kelowna for a rematch on Saturday.

Kelowna has won four straight games, all against Victoria, and last played a different opponent on Jan. 8, a 3-1 loss to the Portland Winterhawks.

While the Rockets are hot, the Giants are coming off a 2-1 loss to the division-leading Kamloops Blazers on Wednesday night.

Vancouver’s lineup looks a little different than the last time these two teams met on Jan. 2, as the Giants dealt captain Justin Sourdif and defenceman Tanner Brown at the WHL trade deadline.

Capacity remains limited at 50% for Prospera Place, but tickets are still available for Saturday’s game.

For season ticket holders, Saturday is home game number 20 in their booklet.
