The Kelowna Rockets will look a little different when they host the Kamloops Blazers at Prospera Place on Saturday night.

The team will be wearing a special-edition SpongeBob SquarePants-themed jersey for RE/MAX: Nickelodeon Night for the Children’s Miracle Network game.

Every jersey worn will be up for auction during the game, with proceeds going to BC Children’s Hospital.

The silent auction for the game-worn jerseys will take place at a table on the Prospera Place concourse behind sections 115 and 116.

“The RE/MAX presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children’s Miracle Network, done in partnership with the Western Hockey League, promises to be a fun and interactive event, and one that is going to raise critically needed funds to support children’s hospitals in Western Canada,” said Mark Hierlihy, president and CEO of Canada Children’s Hospital Foundations.

“I’d like to say thanks to all involved for putting this night together, and I hope it’s the first of many.”

You can secure your tickets to the game online through Select Your Tickets, by calling 250-762-5050 or in person at the Prospera Place box office.
