After the wild 6-5 OT loss to the Regina Pats on Tuesday, the Kelowna Rockets will be back in action on Friday night to battle the Spokane Chiefs down in Washington.

The last time the two teams played each other was two weeks ago, where Kelowna walloped Spokane 10-3. That night, three Rockets players had two goals and two assists in the victory:  Andrew Cristall, Colton Dach and Marcus Pacheco.

Cristall is of course riding a 12 game point streak and is second in the WHL scoring race, with 43 points in 25 games.

Spokane, sitting second-last in the Western Conference with a 4-16-0-1 record, is led by Chase Bertholet, who leads the team in scoring with 26 points.

The Rockets will be without forward Adam Kydd, as the 20-year-old broke his foot earlier this week and will be out at least the next six weeks.

Newly acquired Carson Golder, who came over from the Edmonton Oil Kings in a trade earlier this week, scored his first goal as a Rocket in Tuesday's game and now has 16 points in 25 games.

Puck drop from Spokane Arena is at 7:05 pm.

The game against the Chiefs is the first of a triple-header, with the Rockets facing Tri-City on Saturday, then Everett on Sunday.
