The WHL leading Kelowna Rockets doubled up on the cellar dwelling Lethbridge Hurricanes by a score of 6-3. 

Leon Draisaitl and Gage Quinney both scored twice, Madison Bowey and Justin Kirkland had one each.

The Rockets jumped out to a 5-0 lead before the Hurricanes responded just past the midway mark of the second, beating Rockets rookie goaltender Michael Herringer.

The Rockets would take a 6-1 lead in the third before the Canes would get two quick ones to end the game 6-3.

The Rockets outshot the Canes 51-25, both teams went 1 for 4 on the man advantage.

The Rockets record now stands at 38-8-3-1 on the season.

Kelowna will finish its four game road trip Saturday night in Cranbrook when they take on the Kootenay Ice. So far they are 2-0-0-1 on this road trip.

The Rockets are back on home ice next weekend when they play Kamloops on Friday at Prospera Place as part of a home and home series between the two teams.
