The Thompson Okanagan Football Club (TOFC) had a successful weekend as the U14 boys came away with their third win of the season.

The boys went up against Fusion FC with TOFC’s Edvin Holok opening the scoring in the first half of the match. Fusion pushed hard to score an equalizer but TOFC's keeper Isaac Boehmer and defenders Nic Bigattini, Karlen Speiser, Adam Calne, Brandon Frechette and Maguire Lauridsen were able to keep them off of the board.
The final score ended up being TOFC 2 FFC 0. The U14 boys are back in action this weekend against Mountain FC in Vancouver. The TOFC U13 girls also had a good weekend as they took a win over the Fusion girls’ team. TOFC jumped out to a two goal lead with goals from at the 19 minute by Sophia Siebel and at the 41 minute by Tori Hauptmann. Siebel, TOFC's leading scorer pulled the trigger after a series of excellent passes from Aly Foster, Selena Arima and Kiana Onyango.

The U13 girls took the match 2-1 and now have four wins, a draw, and three losses. They are just three points behind third place Coquitlam Metro Ford FC. The girls will be back in action on May 3rd when they play against last place Vancouver Island FC in Surrey.
