Hundreds of Volunteers Needed for Apple Triathlon

The Pushor Mitchell Apple Triathlon is gearing up for its 33rd year in Kelowna and the call for volunteers has gone out.

The annual event will take place in Kelowna from August 21st to 23rd and in order to be a success, hundreds of volunteers are needed. The volunteer registration will be open to the public on May 1st on the Triathlon website and those interested in helping out will get first crack at their favourite volunteer position.

Anyone registering to volunteer for the bike course will be entered into a draw for “free beer for a year” from sponsor Tree Brewing. All volunteers will be provided with a t-shirt, a breakfast bag, snacks, and a thank you reception with prizes, pizza, beer and a whole lot of fun.

The Kelowna Apple Triathlon brings hundreds of elite athletes from all over Canada and the United States and is known across Canada as a world class event.
