Here’s Who the Rockets Will Face at the Memorial Cup

After the OHL Championship win Friday night, the four teams are set for the Memorial Cup.

The Kelowna Rockets are in as the WHL Championship winners, and the Oshawa Generals took their place by winning the OHL Championship in Game 5 on Friday night. The other two teams in will be the Quebec Remparts and Rimouski Océanic, who are currently battling it out with Quebec leading 3-2 in the QMJHL championship. Both teams will get a spot for the Memorial Cup as the loser will attend as the host team.

The Rockets are set to play their first game in the single round-robin on Friday, May 22nd against the Remparts. The Kelowna team will then take on the Océanic on Monday, May 25th and then the Generals on Tuesday, May 26th.

After that will all depend on how the Rockets play, but Kelowna fans are hoping that the Rockets will get a chance at the championship game for their first Memorial Cup since 2004.

All of the Rockets’ first three games are set to start at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time.
