Kelowna Raiders Come From Behind for Win Against Kamloops

The Raiders finished off their final regular season home game with yet another come from behind win.

The lacrosse players faced a blistering hot Memorial Arena in Kelowna, where the Raiders beat the Kamloops Rattlers 15-8. The Kelowna team had solid defence and skilled plays all evening, keeping fans in high spirits.

Rookie Evan Helgeson had a hat trick for Kelowna, and Raiders with pairs were Vic Wiens, Brendan Urban, Joe Brown, Nick Evans, and Jacob Illichmann. Both Matt Gorges and Travis Lee had singles.

For the Rattlers, A.J. Lockwood had two, while Mark Jurista, Dustin Walsh, Kyle Walker, and Brett Baker each added singles.

The Kelowna Raiders have a two week break, but they’ll take on the Shamrocks in Armstrong on July 10th.
