Although the rain has proven helpful for the Westside Road fire, it isn’t doing much for the Kelowna Falcons.

Sunday evening’s baseball game between Bend and Kelowna was cancelled, thanks to the rain.

Dedicated volunteers worked hard to clean up after this weekend’s showers on Sunday afternoon, but at the end of the day, player safety was the ultimate concern and the game was officially cancelled.

The game will only be rescheduled if the score is needed to decide a division or wildcard at the end of the season.

The Kelowna Falcons will play their next game on Tuesday, taking on the Wenatchee Apple Sox.
