The TORL Force are still looking for their first win at the Canadian under-16 ringette championship tournament in London, Ont.

Playing as Team BC at the 20-team event, the Thompson Okanagan Ringette League representatives dropped a pair of games on Tuesday on the heels of two losses on opening day.

The B.C. champions, who fell 10-3 to host London and 8-2 to the Edmonton Elite, will go into the second round of play on Wednesday taking on Saskatchewan and the Central Alberta Sting.

In a penalty-ridden game against London, Kelowna’s Emily Elsom scored twice, with Brooklyn Keller assisting on her first goal and Abby Williamson sending Elsom on a breakaway for the second. Alyssa Racine rounded out the Team BC, scoring unassisted through the five-hole.

The Force opened the scoring against Edmonton just seven seconds  into the game with a set free-play pass from Racine, who later scored the second B.C. goal on setups from Williamson and Emily Williams.

Final games will be played Saturday, while some of the Force will end their season of road-tripping by cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays in Toronto against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday afternoon before heading home.
