The Sun will meet the first-place Westshore Rebels at Westhills Stadium in Langford Oct. 29 for the B.C. conference Cullen Cup championship. The winner will play host to the Canadian Bowl on Nov. 12.

In the overtime on Sunday, the Rams first drive stalled, ending in a fake field goal attempt from 49 yards.

The Sun then used two Kasey Russell runs to set up Heintz, who made no mistake, kicking the ball through the middle of the uprights for his fourth field goal on four attempts on the day.

Offensively the Sun collected 163 yards through the air and 79 along the ground. Foster Martens started the game at quarterback and finished with six completions on 13 attempts for 63 yards, while Keith Zyla was 4-for-11 for 100 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown bomb to Shamar Donelson.

The only other major the Sun would score came off an eight yard run from Lliam Wishart in the first quarter.

The Sun went into the semifinal with a second-place record of 7-3 while the Rams were third in the regular season with a 6-4 mark.
