Hockey's ability to bring people together is one of the game's most endearing traits.

Whether it's your team gearing up for a game or your buds coming by to watch it, hockey brings people together, and that's exactly what occurred Sunday afternoon at Vernon's Spirit Square.

From excited kids to hockey legends, Spirit Square was bustling for Hometown Hockey.

The event, hosted by Ron MacLean, has visited almost every corner of the country to tell heart-warming hockey stories, meet legends of the game and host a live broadcast of a featured NHL game.
