B.C. Junior Football Conference hopefuls from across Canada and a few from the United States made their way to Kelowna to show off their skills for a weekend of rigorous testing and training and an opportunity to earn a spot on the Sun's 2017 roster.
Among the new faces were a few seasoned veterans of the team, including fifth-year defensive back Eli Haynes of Kelowna and fourth-year quarterback Keith Zyla of Cooper City, Fla.
As the camp was the Sun coaching staff's first 2017 look at their recruits, KelownaNow set out on Sunday morning to talk with head coach Ben Macauley and Sun players about their hopes for the camp and upcoming season.
