The B.C. Lions will be looking sharp when they take the field for their first regular season game next month.

The team has a new quarterback, new head coach and plenty of other new players, but now they also have snazzy new uniforms that were unveiled on Thursday.

All nine CFL teams will be sporting new looks this year now that New Era has taken over as the official outfitter of the CFL.

“In collaboration with New Era, we’ve worked to develop fresh, exciting looks to celebrate our star athletes and iconic Canadian teams,” said Tyler Mazereeuw, chief revenue and marketing officer for the CFL.

B.C.’s home jerseys will remain primarily orange with black shoulders and numbers, while the team’s road jerseys are white with orange trim.

The biggest revamp to the Lions jerseys may be the helmet, which is already receiving rave reviews.

For both the home and away jerseys, B.C. will wear a black helmet with an orange and white stripe down the middle, along with the team’s logo on the side.

Most CFL teams received just minor changes to their jerseys with the exception of the Montreal Alouettes, who saw their uniforms get a major overhaul.
