The MLB season is nearing the halfway mark and the Toronto Blue Jays are enjoying an impressive season so far.
The club is 42-32, good for second in the AL East, and will likely be looking to add some players before the trade deadline to make a run at the World Series.

For fans, however, the most exciting addition might come in the broadcast booth with the potential return of legendary commentator Buck Martinez.
The 73-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in mid-April and has been away from the booth since as he received treatment.
On Tuesday, fellow Blue Jays broadcaster Dan Shulman shared some exciting news on Twitter -- Martinez has finished his cancer treatment.
(2/2) Buck is very hopeful he will be able to rejoin us in the booth at some point post All-Star break, as soon as he is feeling strong enough. Great news!!!

“It all went as well as it possibly could and (Martinez and his wife Arlene) are heading home now to begin rehab and recovery,” Shulman wrote.
“Buck is very hopeful he will be able to rejoin us in the booth at some point post All-Star break, as soon as he is feeling strong enough.”
Martinez has been a staple in the Blue Jays’ broadcast booth since 2010, but his history with the team goes much further back than that.
He finished his MLB playing career in Toronto between 1981-86 and had a brief stint as the Blue Jays’ manager in 2000-01.
