The Vancouver Canucks are having another tough season.

But at least the team’s logos are proving popular.

In September, Versace caught the attention of Canuck fans when it released a sweater design that looked rather similar to Vancouver’s iconic downhill skate jersey.

Now the Seattle Seawolves, a brand new rugby union team that will begin play in the inaugural season of Major League Rugby this April, have released their new logo and...

To be fair, both the Canucks and Seawolves logos and jerseys resemble the Seattle Seahawks team colors/logos as well.

The next obvious question is, what on earth is a Seawolf anyways?

According to the University of Alaska Anchorage, who also use the name Seawolves, a seawolf is a mythical creature derived from multiple legends in Native Alaskan folklore.

All this logo talk may also be distracting us from the main point that professional rugby is coming to the Pacific Northwest.

The MLR (Major League Rugby) consists of seven teams across America and will launch its inaugural season this spring.
